Through 37 years of soli­tude, it was im­pos­si­ble for her lively mind not to think and to write, though she knew that her work could not be read. Two small suit­cases of note­books are all that is left of Mu­sine Koko­lari, care­fully guarded by one of her rel­a­tives. For the world she is silent still.
