WHAT TOM ATE THIS WEEK

TUES­DAY

Cooked a din­ner with the great Gior­gio Lo­catelli, for the very gen­er­ous Lohrs, who bought us in a char­ity auc­tion. Well, Gior­gio did most of the work, leav­ing me to ar­range the fish for the ce­viche, and grate black truf­fle over beef cheek.

WED­NES­DAY

Din­ner at Riva in Barnes, still one of my favourite restau­rants in Lon­don. Won­der­ful grilled lan­goustines, then stracci am­a­tri­ciana.

THURS­DAY

Back on the / . Lots of prawns with chilli sauce, then Daylesford chicken broth. And a cou­ple of straw­berry Mr Freezes.

FRIDAY

Missed lunch for some rea­son, then a lamb shish ke­bab from Naima on Uxbridge Road on the way home from of­fice.
