LESSONS FROM THE RED CARPET

The Mail on Sunday - You - - Beauty Buzz -

Oscar Sunday has swung round once again and, although few of us spend our lives frequenting red carpets, there is something to be learned from celebrities when they’re pulling out all the stops. Flawless, glowing skin is, of course, a must. Model Jourdan Dunn (right) chose Iconic London Limited Edition Illuminator (£29.99, iconiclondoninc.com, from 6 March) to get her glow at a recent Golden Globes party. Wear it alone, mix it into your foundation or tap it on to cheekbones. A Reese Witherspoon-style (far right) flush to the cheeks is never a bad thing, so try Sisley’s new clutch-bag-friendly Phyto-Blush Twist in Petal (left) or Papaya (far left, £43 each, sisley-paris.com). The gorgeous Lily Collins (above) is proof enough that burgundy is the new power lip shade. So try Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color in Red Velvet (left) or Russian Doll (far left, £25 each, bobbibrown.co.uk) – and smile for the camera.
