To­day Jo Youle, 45, is a char­ity ex­ec­u­tive and mother-of-two, but in her 20s she was a pop star – one half of 1990s band Scar­let, which had a hit with its sin­gle ‘In­de­pen­dent Love Song’. So when Clare Cook, deputy di­rec­tor of fundrais­ing and com­mu­ni­ca­tions, sug­gested form­ing the Miss­ing Peo­ple Choir along with mu­sic pro­ducer James Hawkins, Jo was an en­thu­si­as­tic sup­porter. All the choir mem­bers (above) have a connection to Miss­ing Peo­ple. Here are some of their sto­ries.
