Today Jo Youle, 45, is a charity executive and mother-of-two, but in her 20s she was a pop star – one half of 1990s band Scarlet, which had a hit with its single ‘Independent Love Song’. So when Clare Cook, deputy director of fundraising and communications, suggested forming the Missing People Choir along with music producer James Hawkins, Jo was an enthusiastic supporter.
