Paul O’Grady: For The Love Of Dogs – Back In Business

Paul O’Grady was let loose behind the scenes at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home earlier this year when the charity was preparing to close its doors to the public because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The TV presenter is an adoring dog-lover, and he’s really spoilt for choice as he considers which puppies to take back to his house as part of the operation to find homes for as many of the animals (including bichon frise Bobby, right) as possible before lockdown begins.

Feline fans can rest assured: though O’Grady won’t be taking any cats back (he already has five dogs at home) he’s still tending to the many adorable kittens at feeding time. The wonderfully dedicated staff who shepherd O’Grady around suggest that, whatever the future holds, Battersea is in safe hands.
