RAISE your glasses and toast the new modern-day FA Cup kings, Stourbridge! After their impressive victory over Northampton in midweek, the Glassboys deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Altrincham, Blyth Spartans and Enfield, who all have such proud cup history. Having got to the second round of the cup in three of the past five seasons and now the third round for the first time this year, Stourbridge is now very much on the football map. Unfortunately, the draw at Wycombe wasn’t the reward the Glassboys deserved but with spirit like they showed Tuesday night, you wouldn’t bet against Gary Hackett’s men continuing their journey further.
