HARROW BORO 4 LOWESTOFT T 2
A CRACKER of a game to end the year saw Harrow Borough take the points to climb further away from the Ryman Premier basement.
The scoring began in the second minute when the hosts’ Sahr Kabba found Joshua Webb, who jinked past two defenders and fired a low angled shot past Jamie Waite.
The visitors took three minutes to equalise. Ross Jarvis was allowed to drift forward to sidefoot home a left-wing cross.
David Taylor’s header following a corner hit the post before Harrow went ahead again in the 34th minute. A corner was returned to Webb and he delivered to the far post where Steve Brown juggled the ball before steering it past Waite.
Harrow consolidated their lead three minutes later. Webb’s ball into the box was controlled by Marc Charles-Smith. Waite parried his shot but Kabba was alert and poached the rebound.
The goals dried up until the 71st minute when Lowestoft broke forward and Harvey Hodd netted with a low finish.
But Harrow got their two-goal lead back in the 76th minute when Kabba controlled a throw from Lomas, jinked his way into the box and cut the ball back past Waite.
