SEC­OND-HALF sub­sti­tute Kier­nan Hughes-Ma­son won it with two sub­lime strikes as Hast­ings fought back af­ter twice go­ing a goal down.

Sit­ting­bourne took an early lead through Connor Wilkins, hav­ing also scored his team’s goal in the 1-1 draw at Hast­ings.

Top scorer Fran­nie Collin, who also scored the Hast­ings equaliser in that game, lev­elled.

The Brick­ies de­servedly re­gained the lead early in the sec­ond half when Tom Carlse clev­erly picked his spot, but again Hast­ings re­sponded, Harry Stan­nard tuck­ing home.

Then up stepped Hughes-Ma­son, curl­ing a shot into the far cor­ner and then lob­bing the ad­vanc­ing keeper to com­plete a three­goal burst in 16 min­utes.
