SECOND-HALF goals from Stanley Muguo and substitute Khale da Costa earned Harlow Town a come-frombehind victory against Jimmy Bullard’s Leatherhead.

The Hawks got off to a bright start but the Tanners struck first, against the run of play, in the sixth minute when a swift counter attack was finished off coolly by full-back Adam Cash.

Harlow, though, continued to press but had to wait until the hour mark to notch their equaliser – Muguo turning in the box and rifling home.

And they wrapped up a deserved victory 11 minutes from time with a fine individual goal from Da Costa, stealing possession, bursting into the box and beating Louis Wells in the Leatherhead goal.

Victory keeps the Hawks 11th in the table but, crucially, just three points off a play-off place in a congested top half.

As for Tanners boss Bullard, he will also be hoping for a late play-off push – especially with a new signing on tow.

Bullard brought in former Barnsley forward Nana Emeka Boakye-Yiadom to the ranks ahead of tomorrow’s visit of Merstham, although Jim Fenlon has left the club, expected to sign for Walton Casuals.

STAR MAN: Khale da Costa (Harlow Town) ENTERTAINMENT: ★★★★★
