HARRY SAVES HARROW

LEATHERHEAD 2 HARROW BORO’ 2 By Chris Fowle

The Non-League Football Paper - - RYMAN PREMIER -

STRUGGLING HARROW salvaged what could be a vital point in the tightening battle against relegation, thanks to Harry Neuman’s 86th-minute leveller.

It made up for Boro’s disastrous start, Leatherhead taking a fifth-minute lead when defender Adam Cash smashed a shot into the top right-hand corner of the net, after good build up play from Kadell Daniel.

It was nearly 2-0 on 14 minutes, Daniel Carr shooting straight at Boro’ keeper Brendan Hazlett.

Carr again nearly got in again moments later but the ball ran away from him.

And Harrow levelled just three minutes later, Sahr Kabba, putting away a simple shot past Tanners keeper Louis Wells.

Ex-Leatherhead front man Marc Charles Smith hit the post on 32 minutes.

Leatherhead made it 2-1 on 46 minutes when D’Sean Theobalds took full advantage of a mix up in the Boro box.

A great move between Carr and Cash set up Cash but he blasted over on 53 minutes.

Four minutes from time, Neuman made Leatherhead pay for their profligacy.

But star man Cash was unlucky to hit the crossbar with a fantastic shot in stoppage time.
