GREENS GRAB VITAL POINTS

- By Kalvin Sargeant STAR MAN: Kezie Ibe (Hendon) ENTERTAINMENT:

AFC SUDBURY 0 HENDON 4

HENDON were emphatic winners of this relegation “six-pointer” at Sudbury, who finished with ten men for the second week running.

The hosts were already fourdown, however, when Tyler French received his second caution on 78 minutes.

Ace Howell had AFC’s best chance of the first half on 13 minutes when his dipping shot was superbly clawed from under his own crossbar by Greens keeper Tom Lovelock.

Hendon took the lead on 19 minutes when powerful frontman Kezie Ibe shrugged off James Baker and rounded Suds keeper Marcus Garnham to slot home from a narrow angle.

They doubled their advantage in style on 31 minutes when Matt Ball curled home a fabulous 30-yard free-kick into the top corner.

Sudbury made a double change at the break in a bid to gain a foothold in the match.

But Hendon impressively quashed any hopes of a comeback when Keegan Cole fired home the visitors third from the edge of the area on 49 minutes.

Hendon sealed victory on the hour mark when Ibe sprung the AFC offside trap, rounded Garnham and slotted home a neat finish.
