COLNE 2 COLWYN BAY 1
TWO top-quality goals by Adam Morning crowned a great second half comeback by Colne to keep their play-off hopes alive.
Danny Bartle had given Colwyn Bay the lead with a good finish after 12 minutes.
Indeed, it needed some fine saves by Greg Hartley to keep Colne in touch at halftime.
But two minutes into the second half Morning levelled the scores with a 25-yard shot that stung the goalkeeper’s hands on its way to the net.
And it was Morning who popped up with the winner on 69 minutes.
His left-foot shot into the bottom corner after a solo run settled an entertaining game with a result that will please the majority of those present.
