HOPEFULS from Spain and Argentina will get a chance to showcase their skills when they take part in a series of trial matches at Heybridge Swifts next month.

The Essex club are backing a four-day coaching school from July 3-8, organised by their Spanish defender Guillem Ramon in giving players from other countries the chance to play NonLeague football.

Swifts chairman Gary White is inviting various coaches and scouts from around the Bostik League to Scraley Road to see the talent on show on any of the days advertised.

Ahead of the Ryman's 2017 AGM and annual awards night on Saturday at the Hilton Hotel Wembley, he said: “It should be of keen interest to a number of clubs in the league and we are happy for other clubs to attend and see if any players interest them.

“They are coming over from Spain mainly and are looking to get an opportunity to play in Non-League football in England.

“If they are anywhere near as committed and talented as Guillem then they would be an asset to any club.”
