The Non-League Football Paper - - FA CUP SECOND ROUND QUALIFYING - By Jack Smith

VISITING Tunbridge come into this fixture on a high, having equalled their best FA Cup run while in contrast the Beachboys have been dumped out the competition at this stage in the previous two years.

But Concord made short work of the Wells, having established a comfortable lead early, to book their place in the next round.

Khale Da Costa opened the scoring, ghosting in at the back post to head home a deep cross.

Billy Roast doubled the lead with a magnificent volley from 20 yards, leaving custodian Chris Oladogba diving in despair.

The hosts were out of sight by the time the third hit the net. Kyron Farrell took control of a loose ball before crashing home with his left foot.

Concord will be unlikely to witness a better goal this season than Lewis Knights’ ridiculously audacious strike.

With the ball falling for him on the corner of the box, he chested down and volleyed a perfect thunderbolt into the far top-left corner to wrap up the scoring.

The second half panned out exactly as most do when one side has delivered the fatal blows in the first, with the action pretty lacklustre as Concord ran out easy winners in front of their own fans.
