The Non-League Football Paper - - FA CUP SECOND ROUND QUALIFYING - By Tony Tomlinson

FOUR goals in the opening 20 minutes provided a cracking start to the tie as the Bucks early on cut through the visiting defence.

They went close twice before in the ninth minute leading scorer Liam Hardy touched home Niall Doran’s low cross.

Two minutes later the visitors were exposed and Doran himself netted, before a foul on George Cater allowed Josh Craddock to make it 2-1 from the spot.

But two minutes later hardy waltzed round three defenders to restore Buxton’s two-goal lead.

After the interval the Scholars shared possession but couldn’t create chances

And it was Buxton who scored the final goal as Greg Young prodded home a corner kick in added time.
