TIGERS STRIKE LATE TO SALVAGE DRAW
KARL JONES’ injury time equaliser for Hyde means the Tigers will face Warrington on Tuesday in a replay.
After a goalless first half, where it was the visitors doing most of the pressing, Ged Kinsella put the hosts into the lead with 20 minutes left to play with a bullet header from a Sean Williams cross.
That didn’t stop Hyde, who were a Step 1 club just three years, keep putting the pressure on and they got their just reward with seconds remaining.
A cross into the box wasn’t dealt with and Jones was there to smash home from eight yards out to extend Hyde’s unbeaten run to 19 games.
