AN INSPIRING display from Altrincham saw them complete a comfortable win over lowly Rushall Olympic.

Goals from Ben Harrison and Josh Hancock in the first half were added to by John Johnston and Jordan Hulme.

Alty started the game brightly with Johnston and Hancock both going close before Harrison opened the scoring in the 17th minute. A Johnston corner went through some penalty area pinball, before falling nicely to Harrison.

Then just before the break the hosts made it two, as Hancock turned well to beat his man on the edge of the area, before finishing.

Rushall's task was made almost impossible after the break when Kristian Scott pulled back Tom Peers – last man, red card. And from that point on, it was all Alty.

Johnson made it three in the 77th minute, completing a lovely counter attacking move from the hosts – James Poole broke before releasing Hulme, who unselfishly squared to Johnston to smash in.

Hulme then added a fourth in stoppage time after chasing down Poole's parried shot, and chipping the hapless Dale Eve in goal, and tapping in on the line for his seventh in as many games.
