BURGESS HILL fell to a severe bout of inconsistency, following up a five-one home victory on Tuesday evening with a five-goal home hammering at the hands of Lowestoft yesterday.

Lowestoft kicked-off below the Hillians in the league table but lead on 14 minutes and never looked back.

Cruise Nyadzayo broke the brief deadlock when he netted the rebound after an initial effort by prolific striker Jamie Reed.

The Hillians pressed for an equaliser with in-form striker Brandon Diau, but could not find a solution.

And the Trawlerboys doubled their advantage in the 35th minute, through dangerman Reed.

Jacek Zielonka made it three for Lowestoft five minutes after the half-time interval.

And, seven minutes later, Reed added his second to make it 4-0.

The Hillians continued to push for a consolation goal.

But Trawlerboys substitute Josh Greenleaf, who replaced the scorer of their first goal Nyadzayo, netted their last goal, with 15 minutes left.
