ADEYEMI SEES RED FOR THE BLUES

- By Trevor Gilbert

BARKING 0 BEACONSFIELD 2 BARKING slipped out of the FA Trophy to Beaconsfield Town.

The first half saw a lot of huff and puff with home keeper Ollie Bowles producing two excellent stops.

However, on the stroke of half-time the game swung away from Barking when Toib Adeyemi was shown a straight red card for a professional foul and the resulting free-kick was driven home by Wes Daly to put Beaconsfield one up.

Five minutes into the second half a foul on sub Theo Ola was not given and the ball was worked to Jordan Ajanlekoko who expertly made it two.

Despite sending on two strikers Barking could not force a goal and Beaconsfield took their place in the next round. STAR MAN: Wes Daly (Beaconsfield) ENTERTAINMENT: ★★★★★
