BAILEY DOES THE BUSINESS
A BEN Bailey goal ten minutes from full-time saw Hednesford Town claim all three points.
The Pitmen made the perfect possible start to the game when Danny Glover confidently fired home from the penalty spot after James Fitzgibbon had been fouled.
The visitors should really have drawn level in the 33rd minute but Nathan Cartman fired his low effort wide.
Six minutes later Hednesford goalkeeper James Wren had to react quickly to deny Luke Parkin.
It would be Town that would end the half on top though as first Joey Butlin was denied before Fitzgibbon saw a shot saved in the 43rd minute.
Farsley would level the scores in the 55th minute when the ball fell to Cartman who was left with the simple task of firing home.
The Pitmen almost regained the lead four minutes later but Butlin saw his low free-kick go inches wide of the goal.
Farsley substitute Adam Priestley saw his low effort clip the near post in the 75th minute.
Hednesford edged ahead five minutes later when a deep corner from Darren Campion picked out Bailey and the centre half was able to turn the ball home from six yards out.
