AVELEY 2 DEREHAM TOWN 2

The Non-League Football Paper - - BOSTIK NORTH & SOUTH - By Ben House

SEWA Marah’s last-gasp equaliser salvaged a point for Aveley on home soil.

Dereham had opened the scoring on 20 minutes, Rhys Logan finding the ball unchallenged before steering into the bottom left hand corner.

But it didn’t take long for the hosts to restore parity, Alex Teniola crossing to Jordan Watson who smashed home.

Just after the hour mark, Ollie Ebbage put Dereham back ahead with a header from a few yards out, and the visitors had several more chances to kill the game off.

But in stoppage time, Marah found himself through on goal after the ball was played over the top, and he made no mistake in burying it for his third goal in four games.
