PERFECT TEN FOR IN-FORM TRAFFORD

The Non-League Football Paper - - EVO-STIK NPL NORTH & SOUTH - By Dave Law

TRAFFORD stretched their unbeaten league run to ten games with an emphatic victory at foggy Shawe View.

Ossett were on top in the opening stages with Danny South powering a header against the bar.

Trafford assumed control and took the lead on the half hour when Chris Palmer planted the ball into the bottom corner from the edge of the area.

Two goals in five minutes by Aaron Burns and Chris Palmer, both created by James Dean, assured the hosts victory even before substitute Andy Keogh bundled in.

The game ended in unsavoury fashion when Danny South caught Keil O’Brien with a late challenge, O’Brien retaliated, and both were sent off.
