SHEFFIELD FC 0 GRESLEY FC 2
SHEFFIELD FC lost to relegation contenders Gresley in a disappointing afternoon for the hosts.
Matthew Melbourne headed Gresley into an early lead before Danny Quinn doubled up in the second half.
The opener came from an out-swinging free-kick from Sean Phillips, landing on the head of Melbourne in the six-yard box.
Completely unmarked, he neatly nodded past Jones to give the away side the lead.
As Sheffield piled on the pressure in the second half they were caught on the counter attack when winger Reece Morris took the ball forward and threaded it through to Quinn who drilled low past Jones.
That was to be as good as it got, with Gresley grateful for the vital away win.
