TIVERTON Town con­tin­ued their im­pres­sive home form with an­other win.

It was Tivvy who had the first clear cut chance when Tom Bath lobbed wide.

It was Lan­g­ley who took the lead on 23 min­utes. Kieran Turner found him­self with room and curled a de­light­ful ball past Martin Rice. Tivvy came back strong and on 30 min­utes from an­other qual­ity ball through from Ol­lie Knowles, Levi Lan­dri­combe drilled home the equaliser.

The sec­ond half saw Tivvy burst out of the blocks. On 47 min­utes Levi burst through the de­fence and in a tus­sle with Lan­g­ley keeper Martin Ben­nett the ref­eree ad­judged that it was a spot kick. The re­sult­ing penalty was thrashed home.

Lan­g­ley how­ever were in­censed and on 58 min­utes they equalised when Kieran Turner crossed for Stephen Ward to ghost in and score.

On 79 min­utes a free kick was awarded to Tivvy when Levi Lan­dri­combe was fouled by Martin Ben­nett out­side the box.

The keeper was not dis­missed but from the re­sult­ing free kick a Lan­g­ley hand con­nected and the ref­eree awarded a sec­ond penalty.

Levi Lan­dri­combe smashed his sec­ond penalty of the day past Martin Ben­nett to se­cure his hat-trick and the match ball.

Tivvy held out for the re­main­ing 11 min­utes to main­tain their pro­mo­tion push.
