MANAGER MERRY GO ROUND

The Non-League Football Paper - - FA VASE THIRD ROUND -

THE Richard Money train didn’t get very far as he decided to leave his role at Solihull Moors after only 26 days. He was replaced by my old boss Mark Yates and assistant Tim Flowers.

Yatesy is no stranger to the area and will be looking for favours off the big local teams for new recruits to start climbing the table.

His first signing, Kwame Thomas on loan from Coventry, got the equaliser at Maidstone as Moors picked up a well-earned point on the road.

STEVE Davis was relieved of his duties at Leyton Orient with his team languishing in 20th position, just three points above the drop zone.

The injury list didn’t help Steve, but it was still a disappointing brief spell at the O’s.

The next appointment was always a huge one for the club and after careful consideration, Justin Edinburgh was given the nod on Tuesday. He looks a pretty shrewd choice.
