SUTTON Coldfield crashed to a home defeat to close neighbours Rushall Olympic in a match which brought the end to the reigns of management pair Richard Sneekes and Steve Hinks.

“With regret the board has decided to relieve the management team of their duties,” the club tweeted last night.

“Richard Sneekes and Steve Hinks depart with our best wishes and thanks for their efforts. We hope to make an announcement about a new manager in the next few days.”

Joe Hull put Rushall in front before Justin Richards equalised for the home side from the penalty spot.

Richards then put Sutton 2-1 up with a diving header just before half-time but it took Rushall just four minutes to get back level when Daniel Dubidat pounced on Jordan Samento’s shot which hit the junction of the crossbar and post.

An almost carbon copy gave Rushall the lead through Daniel Waldron but Sutton then made it 3-3 when David Howarth turned and hit a tame ball goal wards but it beat the keepers diving save.

But a penalty in time added on was converted by Richard Brodie and cost Sutton dear. STAR MAN: Justin Richards (Sutton Coldfield) ENTERTAINMENT: ★★★★★
