THREE IN AT SOUTHPORT
KEVIN DAVIES hit treble tops for Southport this week by making three impressive additions to his Southport squad.
The former Bolton Wanderers striker and England international has been busy in the transfer market in a bid to steer the side away from a National League North relegation battle.
Two of the arrivals are from League One neighbours Fleetwood Town for undisclosed fees.
Elliot Osborne has signed a deal until the end of next season. The 21-year-old midfielder scored 22 goals from Nantwich Town in 2015-16 leading to a move to the Cod Army and has since had loan spells with Tranmere Rovers, Stockport County and Morecambe.
Winger Dion Charles has made the same move. The highly-rated 22-year-old earned rave reviews at AFC Fylde before moving to Fleetwood.
Full-back Jordan Richards, 24, completes the trio – joining from Fylde on a free transfer until the end of the 2018-19 season.
