DEADLY DARTS TAME THE TIGERS
GLOUCESTER CITY 1 DARTFORD 2
BEN GREENHALGH netted the winner three minutes into the second half as Dartford came from behind.
Chances were few and far between in the opening period with winger Greenhalgh directing a volley goalwards but this was comfortably saved by Adam Przybek in the home goal before Tigers Spencer Hamilton had to be alert to deny Mark Onyemah as the halfhour mark approached.
Gloucester made the breakthrough three minutes before the interval as Sam Avery headed in a Joe Hanks free-kick.
Not that the celebrations lasted long with Dartford drawing level a minute later through Charlie Sheringham.
The action continued into the second half with Darts’ keeper Bailey Vose having to make an excellent save to deny Joe Parker.
Greenalgh then slotted past Przybek to put his side in front. Sub Harry Warwick missed two chances to equalise. The first was the most clear-cut, driving an effort just wide of the near post.
But Dartford could have extended their lead through Kudus Oyenuga and Greenalgh late on.
