Islanders’ generosity is second to none

The Oban Times - - 10 Letters - Ann and Neil MacLeod, Gairloch.

Sir, Tiree must be the most generous island I have ever experienced.

On the Friday, when the weather really took hold, islanders opened their doors to complete strangers attending the music festival.

We were put to the church where we were supplied with hot food and drinks. Elspeth MacLean the minister is a star and for Neil and Iain to be there for us all is beyond words. I can not express how lucky we at the church and elsewhere were.

Thank you Tiree and Tiree Music Festival for organising everything. We will be there next year and hope to come and personally thank everyone that helped us out. Thank you.
