Very proud auntie, Claire McGill, contacted the Oban Times to share in her family’s joy at the wee one’s success.

Claire said: ‘This was extremely special as she heads home back to Brisbane, Australia on Monday. She just turned one on August 14 and she celebrated this in Oban with her Scottish family.

‘Her dad, Greg McGill, an ex Lorne rugby player, came home to Oban to get married on July 17.’

The happy family came into the Oban Times office before heading back to Australia on the evening flight to Hong Kong.
