FORT William’s Gaeliconly school, Bun- Sgoil Ghàidhlig Loch Abar, will feature ‘outstanding education facilities’, according to a Highland council spokeswoman.
Hamish Fraser, chairman of the local authority’s Gaelic implementation group, said it will ‘greatly enhance’ language and culture in Lochaber.
He added: ‘The benefits of bilingual education have been widely acknowledged and this kind of education will also help to develop and sustain the Gaelic language.’
