The facts about epilepsy
EPILEPSY Scotland wants to talk to people about the illness at a question and answer session.
Workers from the charity will be at the North Argyll Carers centre in Albany Street, Oban, on Tuesday August, 18, from 1pm to 4.30pm. Epilepsy Scotland’s staff will be there to answer questions and give out useful factsheets at the free event.
Meanwhile, at the Kilmore and Oban Church in Glencruitten Road, local health, social work, teaching and voluntary sector workers can enjoy free epilepsy awareness training sessions.The certified CPD course will run between 1pm and 4pm.
The second session looks at the impact of sleep deprivation on mental health and learning for teenagers and is on from 5pm until 7.30pm.
