Dam­age to cars and prop­er­ties

PO­LICE are ap­peal­ing for in­for­ma­tion from the public af­ter a num­ber of ve­hi­cles and prop­er­ties were dam­aged.

Be­tween 3.30pm on Sun­day Au­gust 2 and 9.55am the fol­low­ing day, a ve­hi­cle parked in the layby on the A82 at Let­terfin­lay Straights had its rear doors tam­pered with.

An Audi A6 was dam­aged while parked on Fas­sifern road, Fort Wil­liam, be­tween 6pm on Thurs­day Au­gust 6 and 5.15am the fol­low­ing morn­ing.

A red Audi Qua­tro was taken from the Rail­way club car park, In­ver­lochy, be­tween 12.30 am and 8.05am and was later found at Clag­gan park.

The door of the old post of­fice in Glen Etive was dam­aged be­tween lunchtime on Wed­nes­day Au­gust 5 and 3pm on Sun­day Au­gust 9.

Be­tween 5pm on Wed­nes­day July 29 and 7pm on Mon­day Au­gust 3, a win­dow frame of a house on old Banavie road was dam­aged.

Po­lice are ap­peal­ing for any­one who has in­for­ma­tion, or wit­nessed any­one act­ing sus­pi­ciously in these ar­eas, to come for­ward by call­ing 101.
