OBAN Rotary Club has just swung into action for a very worthy cause.

The club has given Mary’s Meals the proceeds from the raffle at its popular annual charity fundraiser, the AM-AM golf tournament.

Representatives from the world-renowned Dalmally-based charity, Mary’s Meals, received a cheque for £549 from the rotarians.

The AM- AM tournament was played at Oban’s Glencruitten golf club in June and is now in its 30th year.

The tournament has raised approximately £145,000 for charity over the past 30 years.
