New date for Achnacloich
WORK on a railway bridge that was due to take place in June will be carried out next month, the Scottish government’s road contractor BEAR Scotland confirmed this week.
Poor signage on the narrow approach to the Achnacloich bridge on the A85 has been a cause for concern for local drivers.
A BEAR Scotland spokesperson, said: ‘ Work on the signage on the bridge is expected to take place in September. Traffic management will be required during this time.’
