New date for Ach­na­cloich

WORK on a rail­way bridge that was due to take place in June will be car­ried out next month, the Scot­tish gov­ern­ment’s road con­trac­tor BEAR Scot­land con­firmed this week.

Poor sig­nage on the nar­row ap­proach to the Ach­na­cloich bridge on the A85 has been a cause for con­cern for lo­cal driv­ers.

A BEAR Scot­land spokesper­son, said: ‘ Work on the sig­nage on the bridge is ex­pected to take place in Septem­ber. Traf­fic man­age­ment will be re­quired dur­ing this time.’
