Wee Crows at St Conan’s
A ‘WONDERFUL’ open weekend at St Conan’s Kirk offered some delightful treats for visitors.
But a fine co-incidence for one spectator was a fabulous experience for those who took up an offer of a free look around the early 20th century church.
The Three Wee Crows performed on numerous occasions over the weekend - but on Sunday a performance of a poem held a special memory for one visitor from Portsonachan.
MacIain Service visited the kirk to hear a poem written by Walter Campbell, founder of the church.
But little did visitors know there was a film of the wedding of Mr Service’s father and mother.
Pictured above are Kathleen Hannigan, Maclain Service and Jo Service at the kirk’s open day.
The Three Wee Crows, who performed at the event, will also be performing at Duart Castle through out the day this Sunday, August 23.
