The top men’s team was Calderglen Harriers of East Kilbride who just pipped Campbeltown running club into second place.

The Calderglen Harriers ladies’ team was also victorious although the Burgh Babes were close on their heels.

The race took place in ideal weather conditions and the course was described by one veteran runner as ‘a piece of cake’.
