Spared a jail term
A YOUNG man has been spared jail after admitting supplying diazepam.
Craig Duff y, 22, from Motherwell, pleaded guilty to supplying the tranquiliser last April.
The court heard he had arrived at a party with 30 pills and gave them to acquaintances. Defence solicitor Laura McManus said the drugs were mainly for her client’s own use.
Sheriff Ruth Anderson QC deferred sentence for four months, saying: ‘ This will give you the chance to show you are a good person.’
