Murdo casts ex­pert eye over ex­hi­bi­tion in lo­cal gallery

A SCOT­TISH art ex­pert vis­ited Fort Wil­liam’s Lime Tree gallery fol­low­ing the grand open­ing of an ex­hi­bi­tion.

Murdo Mac­Don­ald, honorary mem­ber of the Royal Scot­tish Academy and chair­man of the History of Scot­tish Art at Dundee Univer­sity, viewed the latest ex­hi­bi­tion ‘A win­dow to the west’ at the gallery on Ach­in­tore road.

The ex­hi­bi­tion will be open to the public un­til Au­gust 30 and fea­tures the works of some of Scot­land’s best loved artists, Wil­liam Beat­tie Brown, Sir Wil­liam Gillies, Frances Walker and Alex Boyd.
