ST COLUMBA’s primary school in Oban has just received a glowing report from government inspectors.
The key strengths of the school were identified as happy, confident children who were enjoying their learning and were proud of their school.
The school was also praised for its caring and supportive ethos built on faith values and strong links with the local community.
The headteacher also received a gold star from inspectors for her effective leadership and the high quality teamwork among the staff and their focus on improving outcomes for children.
A spokesman for Her Majesty’s inspectorate of Schools said they had agreed a positive development plan for the school.
