No scientific evidence to back up claims

The Oban Times - - Letters - Jennifer Baker, Lismore.

Sir, Regards the letter of August 20, Ms Metcalfe has misunderstood the point of my original letter.

I was not denying the theory that windmills may cause neurological disorders, epilepsy or suicide - perhaps they do.

I was highlighting the fact that nowhere in this article was there any robust scientific evidence to back up these alarming assertions. Such articles should be assiduous in demonstrating rigour when presenting scientific or medical material.
