Local groups will give guided tours
THE INSIDE workings of four Lochaber organisations will be available for the public to see as part of Highland council’s Doors Open programme.
Glencoe Folk museum and Nevis Radio, along with Kinlochleven and Lochaber powerhouses will all be welcoming visitors for guided tours at the end of September, as part of the month-long event.
Audrey Sinclair, chairwoman of Highland council’s planning, development and infrastructure committee, said: ‘ This is a great opportunity to see and learn about some of the Highlands’ architectural and historical gems covering a diverse range of designs and uses, past and present. There is something interesting for everyone, so why not use the programme to plan a day out with a difference?’
