Royal Mail beats target

ROYAL Mail says it delivered a target-beating performance in the PA postcode area for the first quarter of the financial year 2015-16.

According to independent research, 94.3 per cent of first class mail was delivered on time, the next working day after posting. It also had a 99 per cent success rate in delivering second class mail.

Royal Mail is the only UK mail delivery company required to publish Quality of Service performance against delivery targets every quarter and has the highest Quality of Service specification of any major European country.
