Speeding drivers caught by police
MOTORISTS have caught the attention of traffic officers this week after travelling at excessive speeds on the A82.
On August 30, a 21-year- old man was stopped after allegedly travelling at speeds of more than 100 mph in a 60 mph zone.
The same day, near Tyndrum, a 41-year- old motorist was allegedly detected travelling at more than 88mph in a 60mph zone.
Later that evening, again near Tyndrum, a 57-year- old man was detected travelling at 87mph in a 60mph zone.
Police sergeant Alan Moore said police units were on patrol in the area and anyone caught speeding would be fined or reported to the procurator fiscal.
