Woman and son assaulted
UNPAID work will be carried out by a Fort William man who slapped a woman and attempted to slap a child.
Gzregorz Wszelaki admitted assaulting the woman and her son at an address in the town in June this year when he appeared at Fort William sheriff court on Friday (September 4).
The 31-year- old also pleaded guilty to breaking the woman’s phone after they had argued on June 24 or 25 but Sheriff Brian Cameron admonished him on this charge.
Procurator fiscal Alison Wylie told the court the Polish national tried to hit the boy, but his female victim intervened.
Wszelaki was ordered to carry out 90 hours of unpaid work in the community.
