Lifeboat launched to search shoreline

MacDonald launched in the early hours of Wednesday morning after reports of people in the water at Corran Esplanade, Oban.
The lifeboat was tasked by Stornoway Coastguard at 1.40am with the volunteer crew arriving on scene minutes later to search the shoreline. By 1.48am Stornoway Coastguard had contacted the lifeboat to inform it that everyone had been accounted for.
