MPs and MSPs pay staff a liv­ing wage

MEM­BERS of par­lia­ment and Scot­tish par­lia­ment mem­bers pay their staff the so- called liv­ing wage in the High­lands and Is­lands.

While many MPs and MSPs have still to be­come ac­cred­ited with Poverty Al­liance, which runs the anti-poverty scheme - all staff mem­bers in con­stituency and par­lia­men­tary of­fices are paid at least £7.85 an hour.

John Fin­nie, the Green MSP, is al­ready ac­cred­ited, but other MPs and MSPs are in the process of do­ing so.
