Arrest warrant for man running late

A WARRANT has been issued for the arrest of a man who failed to appear at Oban sheriff court on Monday morning.

Anthony Lindie, was due to answer charges about alleged driving offences in May on the A85 and A82.

These included dangerous driving, driving while unfit through drink or drugs and failing to provide a urine sample to police.

Sheriff Ruth Anderson had granted the Paisley man an hour’s grace after the court heard he was running late, but issued the warrant when he didn’t appear at the revised time.
