Turn over a new Leaf and enjoy eco test drive
ISLANDERS are being invited to test drive an electric car and join a local lift-share group.
Mull and Iona Community Trust has recently secured its own Nissan Leaf – an all electric, four- door hatchback community electric vehicle and wants to share it with the community. So the vehicle is now available for free test drives.
This month [ November] the vehicle will be at the RNLI Christmas Sale in Pennyghael Hall, 11am on November 7 (viewing only); Charities Fair in Salen, 2- 4pm on Saturday 14; Community Café and RNLI Christmas Sale at Bunessan Hall, 11- 4pm Monday 16; the pre- Christmas Market at Deravig Hall, 2.30- 4pm on Sunday 22; and the Christmas Market at Craignure Hall, 2- 4pm on Sunday 29. A full driving licence is required to take a test drive. Anyone interested should bring both parts.
