THE DED­I­CA­TION of two long-serv­ing mem­bers of Plock­ton Com­mu­nity Coun­cil was recog­nised when they stepped down last week.

Chair­man Char­lie MacRae re­tired from his du­ties at the fi­nal meet­ing in Plock­ton hall on Oc­to­ber 27, af­ter 40 years on the coun­cil, in­clud­ing 26 at the top of the ta­ble.

Gill James, who served as sec­re­tary and trea­surer for 24 years, will also step down.
